Licensed drinking water operators can receive up to 4.0 CEUs for attending.
The RTCR establishes a maximum contaminant level (MCL) for E. coli and uses E. coli and total coliforms to initiate a “find and fix” approach to prevent fecal contamination from entering the distribution system by identifying sanitary defects and fixing them.
The TCEQ adopted the RTCR at Commission Agenda on March 8, 2017. All public water systems must comply with the rule effective March 30, 2016. To find out more, visit the RTCR webpage.
